Course Description
This is a live, in-person training across several days (February 17-19). This training covers Relational Wisdom, Turning Conflict into Opportunity, & the Seven Laws of Teaching.
RELATIONAL WISDOM:
To live and serve well, you need strong emotional intelligence and relational skills. Our foundational Relational Wisdom 360 course equips you with concrete put-into-practice-now tools to increase your emotional intelligence, have better relationships and avoid conflict. It strengthens every relationship in your life.
Relational Wisdom™ is an enhanced form of emotional intelligence training. It can be defined as your ability to discern emotions, interests and abilities in yourself and others, to interpret this information in the light of your moral compass, and to use these insights to manage your responses and relationships successfully.
TURNING CONFLICT INTO OPPORTUNITY
This course introduces the benefits and practical applications of relational peacemaking, which integrates the principles of relational wisdom (an enhanced form of emotional intelligence) with a broad range of conflict resolution principles and skills. Participants will learn how to: take responsibility for their contribution to a conflict, offer constructive correction, genuinely forgive wrongs, negotiate substantive issues, and deal wisely with people who refuse to be reasonable.
SEVEN LAWS OF TEACHING
Leading effective small groups is not an easy task. And teaching adults is significantly different than how we teach children. Lecture is ineffective. Adults will not answer questions. We can’t stand awkward silence and many just want to stay in their comfort zone. The problem is few are actually learning! Our author will challenge you: “If no one is learning, are you truly teaching?”
This course equips participants with the skills and techniques to make the most of their priceless opportunity to inspire, instruct, and permanently impact lives. Based on seven proven, easy-to-grasp laws any teacher can apply to teach with power and passion, excitement and excellence!

Instructor Training Information:
- Relational Wisdom 360 training is provided through live teaching, short video clips, small group interactive learning task activities and large group discussion.
- In order be certified to teach Relational Wisdom, Chaplains, Religious Affairs Airman or Behavioral Health Counselors must complete all three related Relational Wisdom 360 courses
- Individuals who complete all three courses will receive certification as a Relational Wisdom 360 Military Instructor and will be authorized to use Relational Wisdom 360 resources (videos, PowerPoint, study guides, pamphlets, etc.) to teach Relational Wisdom 360 courses, seminars and retreats.
Dates & Session Times
This course will be hosted in Keystone, CO on February 17-19. Participants should plan to be fully present and engaged during these live sessions, as the course is highly interactive and designed to be experienced in real time.
Attendance Expectations
Full attendance is required to receive a certificate of completion. Because this is a live, interactive intensive, partial attendance may limit both your learning experience and eligibility for certification.
What to Expect
In Relational Wisdom you will learn emotional intelligence skills sets that will help you have better relationships while also reducing the risk of interpersonal conflict.
This course will be delivered live via Zoom and will include:

- Guided discussion in breakout rooms
- Case studies and real-world application
- Opportunities to practice relational wisdom skills with others
Come prepared to engage, reflect, and apply what you are learning.
Before We Begin
Registered participants will receive instructions for purchasing and accessing required course materials. These materials must be completed prior to the start of the intensive in order to fully participate in the live sessions.

Your Instructor
Ken Sande is the founder of Peacemaker Ministries and RW360. Trained as an engineer, lawyer and mediator, Ken has conciliated hundreds of family, business, church and legal conflicts. He is the author of numerous articles and books, including The Peacemaker, which has sold over 500,000 copies in twenty languages. He teaches internationally on biblical peacemaking, Christian conciliation and relational wisdom, which is an enhanced form of emotional intelligence that helps people “get upstream of conflict” by improving their ability to read and manage emotions in themselves and others. These resources are being used to strengthen relationships, promote teamwork and reduce and resolve conflict in churches, families, businesses, schools and military bases around the world. Ken is a Certified Emotional Intelligence Instructor and a Certified Relational Wisdom Conciliator, Coach and Instructor. He has served as a church elder, an Editorial Advisor for Christianity Today, Certified Professional Engineer and as a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Montana Bar Association.
